The Morlena Stud was founded during the 1980's on our family farm in Eifionydd, by our father, Mr.William M. Jones.
This being an area where tradition and culture are a way of life, we strive to breed traditional, quality Welsh Cobs with character and excellent temperaments.

Success was had by two of our cobs at the above this year:
Morlena Ceri owned and ridden by Miss Alison Geary, achieved 3rd place in the M & M large breeds class, which had 19 enteries, including Riding Club Champions and individual qualifiers. They then went on to receive the Individuals M & M Reserve Champion! ( I hope i've got this right!!!)
Morlena Caio, owned by Mrs Caroline Abrahams, and ridden by Miss Samantha Griffiths, was also entered in the same class as Ceri, and was placed 6th in a class of 19 !!

Our sincearist congratulations to Mr. J. Goulbourne, Ormskirk, Lancashire and Imrans' rider, Claire Rigby, on their success at the Royal Welsh Show. Well done!
